I wasn't convinced by the trailer about this one so it's been on and off the shortlist a few times. The premise sounded more like a short film rather than a full feature.

Nevertheless, I am often surprised by films so after passing the time limit of finding something else to watch, we put this on.

I should have trusted my instincts. I thought it was rubbish. While I don't mind a big concept movie, I couldn't get on-board with this, and it wasn't helped by characters with no real depth or interest. I was begging it to get weird, or just go totally batshit, but it never did. By the end it was all very unsatisfying and quite dull.

Also, I don't mind Dave Bautista but he was a really bizarre choice for this role.
